Jesus Christ came to set the captive free — in spirit, in soul, and in purpose. We go where the church doesn't always go, and we carry the Word of God with us.
Jesus was explicit. When He stood in the synagogue and read from Isaiah, He said: "The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me… to proclaim liberty to the captives." That was not merely a metaphor. It was a mission statement — and it is still ours today.
The incarcerated are not forgotten by God. They are not beyond His reach, His love, or His power to transform. Many of the greatest testimonies of radical conversion come from behind prison walls — where everything has been stripped away and the soul is finally open to hear the voice of the Lord.
This ministry exists to be that voice. To show up with the Word of God, with genuine love, and with the unshakable belief that every person Jesus died for is worth fighting for — no matter where they are or what they've done.
"Remember those who are in prison, as though in prison with them, and those who are mistreated, since you also are in the body."
— Hebrews 13:3 (ESV)We also carry a heart for the families left behind — the children growing up without parents, the spouses holding everything together, the siblings who don't know how to help. The ripple effect of incarceration touches an entire generation, and the love of God reaches every single one of them.
Those currently incarcerated who want to know Jesus.
Families of the incarcerated who feel alone in the struggle.
Those recently released who need a community and a Word.
The fatherless — children growing up without a parent at home.
The widows and the forgotten — those the world has written off.
"Pure and undefiled religion before God the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble…" — James 1:27
Connect With the MinistryYou don't have to go inside a prison to be part of this mission. Here are the ways to stand with us.
A letter from the outside can change a day, a week, a life. We coordinate letter-writing to incarcerated men and women who have no one writing them. It costs nothing but your time and your heart.
Many facilities accept donated Bibles and Christian literature. The Word of God, physically in someone's hands, has started more transformations than we can count. Contact us to find out what's needed.
Intercession is the foundation of this ministry. Every name we receive, every family we encounter, every inmate we serve — they all need prayer warriors standing in the gap. That might be the most powerful thing you can do.
Ministry costs something. Transportation, materials, Bibles, resources — your financial support helps us go farther and serve more people. Every dollar goes directly into the mission field.
Returning citizens need community, employment connections, housing leads, and people who won't look at them with judgment. If you can offer any of these, you are part of the solution.
The children. The spouses. The parents. When someone goes to prison, the whole family goes in some way. Showing love to those families is a profound act of ministry that changes generational trajectories.
We believe every human being is made in the image of God — imago Dei — and that image is never fully destroyed, no matter what someone has done or what has been done to them.
We believe in the power of genuine repentance and the reality of transformation by the Holy Spirit. We have seen lives that were completely bound by addiction, violence, anger and shame — completely changed by an encounter with Jesus Christ. Not partially changed. Completely changed.
We believe the Church has a mandate to go to the marginalized, the imprisoned, the fatherless, the widow, and the orphan — not as a charity project, but as brothers and sisters in the same family of God.
And we believe that prayer changes things. Every single time.
You are not forgotten. God sees you right where you are. Reach out — we want to pray with you and connect with you.
