Today, is a new day. A day we can give the God of glory all praise and worship. Before you slip out of your bed or out of the house at least, be sure to cover yourself and your family in prayer. Psalm 91 is always a beautiful place to start.
He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust. Psalm 91:1-2
Your secret place, is in prayer with God. You can maintain an attitude of prayer all day long, as you meditate on Him. Even if you are not able to actively “voice” your prayer, know that God hears your heart. He hears even the faintest sigh or whisper to Him. He hears every breath. I heard it said we even breathe His name as we breathe in and out.... YHWH.
Imagine that, it is said that, “The letters YHWH represent breathing sounds, or aspirated consonants. When pronounced without intervening vowels, it actually sounds like breathing. YH (inhale): WH (exhale). A baby's first cry, his first breath, speaks the name of God.”
